Royal National Lifeboat Institution Memorial Sculpture

The sculpture 316 stainless steel Ė boat 4.5m long, figures 2.7m long.

The sculpture situated in the grounds of the RNLI headquarters in Poole.

Those lost, those saved and the crews that go to rescue. Not only to act as a memorial recording the dates of the rescues and disasters but also to celebrate the RNLIís continuing achievements.

Unveiled on 3rd of September 2009 by HRH Duke of Kent. Funded and managed by the RNLI heritage trust.
